For this shoot I used previous images on street photography as well as a few from my light shoot the other day as I decided on the theme of light as I'm interested in and intrigued by different lights and light sources and the effects it can release.
Some of these images I have previously taken for a previous photo shoot based on different sources of light, including sun light where I used an image of a sun setting on Porthtowan beach, an out of focus photograph of car headlights coming towards me and the final previous image I used from a previous shoot was blurred strobe lights from a festival in Newquay called Boardmasters. The images I took on my light shoot recently were all taken with artificial light. I took photos of the warning light on a bus saying 'Bus Stopping', a multi coloured mini light and a transparent light bulb with a swirly light source inside.
I used Bill Armstrong as quite a lot of my inspiration as I really like the way he works with blurred light. I also really liked looking at Marius Vieth and the way he works with natural and artificial lights to create moods and scenes.
